Studio Goals
We work to create an environment where learning to play a instrument is part of experiencing a love for music and developing good habits and discipline for life. Music is enjoyed personally and in group experiences, both by playing and listening. Performance is an essential part of music discipline and incorporating that right at the beginning will help build confidence; and of course, performing is the payoff for all the hard work. A study of music theory and history is also critical in good musicianship.
By combining private lessons and group experiences: workshops, performances, summer camps, etc., we hope for the students to share their musical experiences and create friendships. Through the medium of music, students will have the opportunity to learn that persistence and hard work can lead to proficiency and feels great.
